DOC MONTEVIDEO 2020

DOC MONTEVIDEO is considered a reference market and festival in Latin America. It is the largest audiovisual market in Uruguay, the main pitching forum for documentary projects in the continent and the meeting point for public and cultural television stations in Latin America.

In its 11 editions, DocMontevideo has contributed to the viability and international positioning of more than 180 feature film projects and non-fiction series from the continent, which were later awarded prizes at festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, IDFA, Toulouse, San Sebastian, Guadalajara and BAFICI, among others.

DocMontevideo is produced with the support of the Ministry of Education and Culture through the ICAU, of the Municipality of Montevideo through the Montevideo Location Office and of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining through DINATEL.
