Market of Creative Industries in Argentina (MICA)

Mica, the Mercado de Industrias Creativas Argentinas (Market of Creative Industries in Argentina in English), the most important event of the country in its field, is oriented to the development, professionalization, articulation and circulation of the industries of the different creative sectors: audiovisual, performing arts, design, music, publishing and video games.

Uruguay XXI will be supporting Uruguay's first presence as guest of honor in this event and the country's participation will be coordinated with the National Direction of Culture of Uruguay.

In 2018, MICA opened its doors to the participation of a guest of honor in its business rounds. In 2019, Uruguayan creative industries will have the opportunity to participate in this important market with buyers and programmers from the region and the world.

This year, MICA will discuss gender, childhood and accessibility as a focus for ideas, debate and reflection.

The activity will take place from the 28th of June to the 2nd of July at the Centro Cultural de la Ciencia.
