Expo Osaka | Uruguay stand inauguration

On April 14 at 2:00 p.m., Uruguay will officially inaugurate its pavilion at the Universal Expo Osaka 2025, with a ceremony that will include the traditional ribbon cutting and a toast with Uruguayan wines. The activity will take place at the Uruguay Pavilion and will be attended by prominent national and international authorities, marking the beginning of the country's strategic participation in this global event.

The ceremony will be attended by the Ambassador of Uruguay to Japan, Victoria Francolino; Uruguay’s Commissioner General for Expo Osaka, Benjamín Liberoff; the pavilion’s Country Manager, Orihara Mako; and the Country Brand Manager of Uruguay, Larissa Perdomo. Representatives from neighboring countries and members of the Ibero-American Country Brand Council (CIMAP)—including Brazil, Peru, Chile, Colombia, and Paraguay—have also been invited.
