Uruguay XXI will be present at WCTE Santiago (World Conference on Timber Engineering), as part of its strategy to promote investments in the forestry and wood sector. This is the first time this event is held in South America and will be hosted by the Chilean capital.
The World Timber Conference is the most relevant academic and professional space at the international level on engineering and construction in wood, where the latest research, technological advances, and best practices are presented in order to meet the challenges that the sector faces.
The main topics that this conference will cover are sustainable forests for timber production, wood products and connections, wood engineering and architecture, policy, implementation and management, education, promotion and future trends.
