Organized by Uruguay XXI, MUY was conducted by María Gomensoro, who conducted live interviews with the present authorities, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and brand ambassadors, María Noel Riccetto, Luciano Supervielle, Hugo Soca and Martín Inthamoussu.
The offer of products present at the Fair, varied and attractive, ranging from gastronomic products such as wines; olive oils; cheeses; baked goods; coffee; burgers; craft beers; churros and fruit juices, even clothes; footwear, furniture, costumes for children, crafts, jewelry, natural cosmetics, musical instruments, books, objects made of iron, and even a rolling tent.
The large spaces occupied by INAVI and ASOLUR, and the tastings of national wines and olive oils, attracted many people throughout the day, as well as the foodtrucks installed outside the Los Robles room. The public also took the opportunity to learn about the facilities of La Casa Uruguaya, the project undertaken by young Uruguayan architects that has received several distinctions abroad and, by the way, is a partner of Marca País.
Upon entering the Los Robles room, from the stands of institutions that promote the entrepreneurial and exporting potential of local SMEs such as ANII, ANDE Transforms Uruguay, Uruguay XXI and BROU, information was provided to those interested in learning about these tools.
At the beginning of the Fair, representatives of the company La Cristina, on behalf of the group of companies System B, gave Antonio Carámbula a donation check for eight tons of carbon credits, which is estimated four times the emissions that took place during the event.
During the opening of the event, the executive director of Uruguay XXI, highlighted to the press the importance of activities such as the VERY Fair, in which Uruguayan creativity is recognized. "Our country brand is a sample of what we are and what Uruguayans do and make this fair is a way to recognize the effort of Uruguayan creativity, production and export," he said.
Carámbula also highlighted that Uruguay XXI is "constantly" focused on the promotion of its associated companies in the different international fairs, so he said that they are preparing for a country presentation with negotiation spaces between businessmen next November in Mexico.
For his part, the president of the Chamber of Industries of Uruguay, Washington Corallo, told the news agency Efe that this type of activity "shows the entrepreneurial spirit" of the Uruguayan and he appreciated that although it is not industrial activities, it implies Many people and jobs. "At a time like today with access to difficult and competitive markets, we have to bet on quality, on stamp, and not on quantity, and this Fair is a sample of what that Uruguayan can achieve who has the capacity to create and feel supported" , he assured.
