The renowned Salus brand has signed an alliance with the Uruguay country brand. It is now one of the more than 40 partners of the new LSQA-certified country brand licensing offered by Marca País - Uruguay XXI.
This new licensing, which was presented at the beginning of 2023, enables Uruguayan product or service companies to display the Uruguay country brand after going through a self-postulation process that will certify compliance with four values: origin, sustainability, leadership and management, and export capacity.
“Through this certification, the company (Salus) ratifies its commitment to maintaining high standards in sustainability, management, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. These certificates further reinforce the responsibility of Salus, a company with a recognized track record and commitment to business and environmental management that enhances the level of Uruguayan products that represent and defend the values of the Uruguay country brand,” the company announced in a statement.
With more than 20 years of sustained management, the Uruguay country brand represents its best values, making it unique and distinguishing it from others. Licensing under LSQA certification indicates quality, generates a sense of belonging, and promotes the country’s image worldwide. Likewise, the brand accompanies the companies’ products and services, helping them boost their positioning in foreign markets.
“We are delighted and proud to accompany in this new stage; we joined Marca País because we recognize its significance as a symbol of rootedness with Uruguay. We are talking about celebrating and promoting our identity and commitment to the country,” said Danone's general manager, Agustín Mostany.
He added that the strong partnership between Salus and Marca País is a testament to the company’s long-standing commitment to Uruguay and its culture and its strong support for sustainability.
