The recognized Uruguayan brand Salus presented a renewed proposal for its iconic nature reserve, located in the department of Lavalleja. Redesigned to offer new educational and recreational experiences, the Salus Nature Reserve also represents an opportunity to reinforce the company's commitment to the preservation of water, biodiversity and the connection with future generations.
“The Salus Reserve is part of Uruguay's cultural heritage and this renovation seeks to enhance the experience for all visitors. We hope it will allow more people to learn about the study of water, which is so important, and have a great time here,” said Salus's general manager, Agustín Mostany.
Uruguay XXI's Country Brand Manager, Larissa Perdomo, highlighted the relevance of this action, which is directly aligned with the values that distinguish the Uruguay country brand in the world. “Salus renewed its licensing under LSQA certification a year ago, ratifying its commitment to maintain high standards in the pillars of sustainability, leadership and management, origin and export capacity. This initiative further reinforces the company's responsibility in this regard and is an example for the rest of the Uruguayan companies,” she said.
The reserve's refurbishment included the improvement of different spaces, such as the Explorer's Corner, where information will be provided to enjoy a safe and environmentally friendly visit, as well as the possibility of enjoying a micro-cinema, where visitors can learn about the reserve's conservation project.
They also incorporated new recreational areas, modernized the restaurant and created trails with different levels of difficulty, designed so that all visitors can appreciate the reserve from the inside and experience the place with all their senses, which is home to more than a thousand species of fauna and flora.
For the Minister of Environment, Robert Bouvier, this renovation contributes greatly to environmental strategies. “It is very important to have a company committed to the environment, which collaborates with awareness and contributes to the country's tourism,” he said.
The Mayor of Lavalleja, Mario García, said: “Parque Salus is one of the greatest beauties we have. And today we can proudly say that it has a new reality, which undoubtedly had behind it a business decision to apply resources to adapt to the times to come”.
With more than 20 years of sustained management, the Uruguay country brand represents the country's best values, highlighting its uniqueness and distinction at a global level. The Uruguay country brand licensing for companies is a program designed so that national companies can associate and align themselves with the Uruguay brand, now also adding the quality standards certification of Latu Sistemas Quality Austria.
This is a distinction of excellence, which demonstrates the commitment of companies to quality and continuous improvement and positions Uruguay as an exporter of products and experiences of remarkable quality.
