Marca País Uruguay accompanied the official opening of the Peru pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025, one of the most important international events of the year, which brings together countries from around the world in Japan to share their cultures, innovations and proposals for the future.
Larissa Perdomo and Mariana Cabrera, manager and analyst of Marca País Uruguay respectively, participated in the event together with Daniel Cavero, director of Marca Perú and curator of the pavilion, in a day that combined color, flavor and music.
The ceremony was also attended by Peruvian authorities, such as the Peruvian Ambassador to Japan, Roberto Seminario, and the Peruvian Minister of Tourism, Desilu León, who highlighted the importance of this exhibition as a space for integration and international projection.
Attendees enjoyed a cultural show with typical dances and tastings of emblematic dishes such as ceviche, causa and pisco sour.
Expo 2025 Osaka opened its doors on April 13 and will run until October 13, anticipating the arrival of millions of visitors who will explore the proposals of each participating country.
This global event is expected to be a catalyst for new ideas and solutions to contemporary challenges, consolidating its importance as a key platform for international progress. Under the slogan “Designing the society of the future, imagining our lives of tomorrow”, the Expo proposes a unique experience for visitors, with activities ranging from thematic seminars to artistic exhibitions and cutting-edge technological advances.
Within this framework, Uruguay's participation, with its own calendar of activities and pavilion, reaffirms its commitment to regional cooperation and the strengthening of ties between nations, projecting an open, close and innovative image to the global community.
