In May, Montevideo hosted the fourth edition of Sustainable Brands, a learning and networking event focused on sustainability practices.

The conference took place at the Sofitel Hotel, where exhibitors from organizations and companies such as UN Women, Salus, the Chamber of Advertisers of Uruguay, Mercado Libre, and L’OREAL, among other multinationals, shared their actions and strategies with a common goal: environmental regeneration.

Sustainable Brands Montevideo is part of a global network of meetings and workshops in cities such as San Diego, Istanbul, Madrid, Malaysia, Yokohama, Paris, Barcelona, and Buenos Aires. This event offers a unique platform for companies and organizations to discuss and promote sustainable practices at a regional level.

Marca País played a crucial role in this edition, hosting the workshop “We are regeneration” by Eduard Müller, founder and rector of the University for International Cooperation of San José, Costa Rica. The workshop focused on regenerative practices beyond traditional sustainability, proposing a holistic environmental and social management approach.

The Uruguay brand recognizes and promotes sustainability practices, positioning the country as an attractive platform for developing sustainable businesses. Under LSQA quality certification, the Country Brand licensing values sustainability as a fundamental pillar for the country’s business and integral growth.
