Uruguay XXI presented support system to exporters in Soriano

The Institute of Promotion of Investments, Exports and Country Image Uruguay XXI made the presentation "Supporting export development and attraction of investments" in Mercedes. The activity was organized in conjunction with the local government of Soriano and the Commercial and Industrial Center of the Department, on October 31 at the Soriano Commercial and Industrial Center.
The event was attended by departmental authorities, representatives of Uruguay XXI and local companies. The activity was carried out in order to promote the export culture and the actions that are carried out to promote productive investments. On the occasion, the investment opportunities report will be presented in Soriano, prepared by the Institute.
Uruguay XXI has a system of tools and support services for companies that start on the export route, or that seek to increase and diversify their exports. The Institute provides technical and economic support to companies to participate in international fairs, coordinates trade visits abroad and reverse missions of buyers who visit the country, organizes workshops on market access and issues related to internationalization..
The event also saw the presentation of Proexport +, a program specifically designed for exporting MSMEs or those with export potential that accompanies companies in their internationalization process, co-financing promotional activities within the framework of an Internationalization Project.
The representatives of Uruguay XXI also reported on the actions carried out by the Institute in order to promote the country as a destination for productive investments and the tools it has to advise potential investors. The program Global Export Services of Uruguay XXI was also presented, with financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), with the objective of increasing foreign direct investment, exports and employment in the global export services sector, specifically in the areas of information technology, corporate services, pharmaceutical and health, and architecture and engineering.
Participants also shared strategies to promote the positioning of the Country Image, through the country brand Uruguay Natural, managed by the Institute. At the same time, the opportunities and advantages for national companies to be partners of the Country Brand will be explained.
During the day, representatives of the Institute visited companies in the department to establish direct contact and promote tools to support exporters and potential exporters.
