Banco de la Nación Argentina carries out its international commercial and financial activities, supported by a network of 10 operating subsidiaries located in New York, Miami (USA), Madrid (Spain), San Pablo (Brazil), Montevideo (Uruguay), Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia), and Asunción, on which Concepción, Encarnación and Villarrica (Paraguay) depend, and a representative office in Beijing (China), which, adapting to the requirements of each market in which they operate, constitute the fundamental instrument for the development of international business and foreign trade.

The Banco de la Nación Argentina (Uruguay Branch) has historically had a commercial policy driven by its Head Office based on the promotion of exports of goods -traditional and non-traditional- of Argentine origin. Thus, its core business has been the financing and provision of banking services related to this type of business, without neglecting other banking products or other international markets.

It also has significant placements in regional international organisations based in Montevideo. In Retail Banking, it operates mainly through the granting of loans and the provision of services to officials of the Argentinean Embassies (to ALADI and to the Oriental Republic of Uruguay) and other countries, as well as to officials accredited in the aforementioned International Organisations.
