Da Vinci Foundation aims to strengthen and expand the entrepreneurial culture. In order to achieve this, the Foundation manage three operational units. The first is called activities, where different initiatives are organized throughout the year such as the MontevideoValley.UY annual meeting, #HackathonAGRO, #EmprerendetonUY (an open innovation initiative). The second is the da Vinci publishing house where books and a variety of publications are produced or supported such as the printed and digital book Fundadores.UY / Founders.UY Finally, the third unit is the #daVinciLabs business incubator, which supports startups based in knowledge and innovation. Nowadays, more than 40 teams have been incubated and, for example, one of the graduates received the national innovation award recently. To sum up, the three units manage resources and competent human capital to guide and realize consulting services to investors mainly involved with investment in technology-based companies that go through early stages of development. Besides, the Foundation supports investors in prospecting and developing their owns business operations in Uruguay.
